The accountability and encouragement really made me believe I could run a first marathon, and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try their first. The weekly workouts were tailored to my needs, particularly after I became injured (while on vacation).

As a mid to back of the pack runner, I wasn't sure that run coaching was for me, but I'm so glad I made the investment. While working with Harmony, I learned to take nutrition and hydration for my runs seriously, I achieved paces I never thought would be possible, and I was able to cut almost half an hour off my marathon time while feeling strong for the whole 26.2 miles.

I had knee surgery back in the fall and I started to try to get back to running on my own, and I just was not enjoying the process and I was very frustrated. I sought out Coach Harmony in the local running community, and since I started working with her, I can feel I am getting stronger. I feel very happy now and I am finding the joy in running again. She helps me meet me at myself where I am, and not where I think I should be.

I’ve worked with several running coaches in the past, and I really love the personalized attention that Coach Harmony gives me. Some weeks are more challenging that others to get my runs in, but she keeps me accountable and I love the flexibility. I feel that I can still hit my training goals and balance my life.
